This
19 year old LCpl earned the Purple Heart in early
months of Iraqi Freedom.
Special
thanks to the Asheville H.S. ROTC who assisted with
the traditional Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony.
The
bulldog kept pulling out of his collar so the cadet
improvised, carrying him through the ceremony.

Jima veteran, Chuck Richardson receives a container
of sand taken from Iwo Jima by Maj. Gen. Higgenbotham.
Don Lanson and his wife, Joyce, worked hard to put
on such a great event. We want to thank you for
your hard work.
You
can't let some people know you're going to take
a photo.
Like
I said, you just can't give them a heads up.
Does
anyone even know this guy?
Our prayers go out to our brothers and sisters
around the world in harms way, protecting our
country. Happy Birthday Marines!
