USN, Combat Service Support Group II
Commander Wadewitz gave an excellent presentation
about his time in Iraq with the Marines as a doctor
during 2003

Raised $7,763 Distributed toys to 700+ children
including 131 children of the 210th Military Police
currently in Bahgdad
Future Fundraising
Currently preparing for an early Spring Turkey
Shoot to raise money for Detachment and Member
Trip in the Late Spring. Turkey Shoot range will
be arranged by Lou Slagle
and once date and place is set, will begin advertising
around area.
Christmas Float
We need to get the float off Randy Hughes
trailer. Since Skip is not present for us to put
in his barn, will temporarily store at Lee Cloer's
home.
New Business:
2nd Saturday of month at 10:00 am will
be practice for Color Guard and Burial Detail.
All members are encouraged to attend. This will
be held at the Macon Cty Fair Grounds Bldg. Breakfast
will be held at 9:00 am those mornings at Two
Bros. Cafe for those wanting to eat prior. Note

* Lou Slagle gave Toys for Tots Certificates and
awards to members involved in Toys for Tots this
past 2003 season.
Commander's Awards given to Phil Drake and Smoky
Mtn. Chev. for their donation and time to Toys
for Tots program for 2003 season. [these have
already been done by Lou Slagle prior to meeting.]
The new Color Guard Uniform was exhibited by
to Detachment by Bob Thompson, Tom Wanson and
Randy Hughes.
