Toys for 210th Tots
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots handed out gifts last week to children
of the 210th Military Police Company of the N.C. National Guard. "GUnny"
Lou Slagle, shown, handed out gifts from the Tot's sled at the National
Guard Armory to Emery, 7, and Erin Crawford, 9. "I think they're
gonna be pretty cool," said Emery about her gifts. They are the children
of SSG Robert Crawford, who is stationed with the unit in Iraq. More than
120 kids from the 210th families and 675 kids from Macon County will receive
gifts this holiday from Toys for Tots. The group raised more than $8,000
for the cause.
