On
October 13th, 2006, the Marine Corps League of Franklin presented a Certificate
of Recognition to Drake Enterprises for proudly displaying the American
Flag while following proper flag etiquette. Properly flying the American
Standard requires the flag be raised in the morning and lowered in the
evening, or if left up overnight, must be well illuminated. Also, the
flag should not be flown during inclement weather unless it is an all-weather
flag. Pictured are Garry Hancock and Steve Maney of Drake Enterprises,
who care for the American Flag, and Lee Cloer of the Marine Corps League
presenting them with the framed Certificate of Recognition.
