WNC MARINES TO CELEBRATE 229TH BIRTHDAY WNC Marines will gather on Saturday, November 6th, at the Waynesville Country Club Inn to celebrate the 229th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps. Our guest of honor this year will be Major General G. Higginbottham, USMC(Ret) All Marines, former Marines, friends, families of the Corps are invited to attend. Computers being what they are, we lost part of our mailing list and if you received an application last year and have not heard from us by the 4th of October 2004, please get in touch with us.
